New Tools, New Schools: Starting the Conversation about Web 2.0

Lynne Schrum mentioned that Teacher educators were looking for action research practioners in schools that looks at technology’s ability to enhance curriculum (learn better and deeper) as well as extend learning (by time, place, pace, repetition, intelligent alternate paths for remediation). I enjoyed the way she noted that it was a curriculum and results-outcomes issue….not one which looks to measure how much tech is being used. I am not sure I have articulated the idea and the difference well. (ideas/stories and experiences within the 2.0 environments as how one would define it.)  ISTE is the publisher.
